Kitters Needs a Job

I have a super awesome cat named Kitters! When Nick and I moved into this great new apartment in San Jose we found out that not only did we have to pay a cat deposit but we had to pay cat rent monthly; WHAT!? If I put a "cat deposit" down at the begging; then why should I also have to pay monthly to have my cat live with me. This makes my beloved cat more of a burden / room-mate, than a loving / pet. Its not right, Kitters dosen't even have the ability to go out and get a job.........or does she?

So we got her a fancy tie and looked up her realistic job options, so we could send her out on interviews. Her portion of the rent is only $35.00 a month, so she should be able to figure out how to come up with this money right? Some of her job options are as follows: 1.) Mouse catcher (best fit); Kitters is overqualified for this position, she can catch all types of animals....three in one day too! 2.) Fly killer 3.) Model, this is a 50/50 chance due to the fact that Kitters is only half Russian Blue (the good part from her mom) and the other half is creek cat......his name was duder. 4.) Beef Jerky Locator.

Below you will see me breaking the news to Kitters that she needed to get a job, and pay for her $35.00 rent every month.

Kitters is still on the hunt for a job, and we are still footing the bill for her monthly part of the rent. You know that cat has never paid for ANYTHING! I mean I love her and all but the apartment complex people may be right? Maybe all animals should pay their way. Makes me think twice before buying any new cat toys are cat nip.
